When You Need Us Most, We Are There

Making a motor insurance claim can feel overwhelming — especially when you are already dealing with an accident or a theft. True Promise's claims assistance team takes the burden off your shoulders. We guide you through every step, liaise with the insurer on your behalf, and make sure your claim is settled as quickly as possible.

How to File a Claim

1
Intimate Immediately

Call our claims helpline or submit the online claim form within 24 hours of the incident. For theft claims, file an FIR with the local police before contacting us.

2
Document Collection

Upload photographs of the damage, a copy of the FIR (if applicable), your vehicle's Registration Certificate, your Driving Licence, and the insurance policy. Our team will guide you if you are unsure what is needed.

3
Surveyor Coordination

We coordinate the appointment of the insurance company's licensed surveyor. In most urban areas, the surveyor visits within 48 hours. For cashless claims, your vehicle will be directed to a network garage.

4
Repair or Reimbursement

For cashless claims, the insurer pays the network garage directly. For reimbursement claims, pay the garage and submit the bills — we follow up for quick credit to your bank account.

5
Settlement & Closure

We monitor the settlement status and keep you informed at every stage until the claim is fully closed and you receive written confirmation from the insurer.

Types of Claims We Handle

Own Damage Claims

For damage to your own vehicle due to an accident, fire, flood, hailstorm, or vandalism. Both cashless (at network garage) and reimbursement options available.

Third-Party Claims

If your vehicle causes damage or injury to another person or their property, your third-party cover responds. We handle all legal notices and insurer coordination.

Theft Claims

If your vehicle is stolen, we assist with filing the FIR, notifying the RTO, coordinating with the insurer for total loss settlement, and receiving the IDV payout.

Total Loss Claims

When repair costs exceed 75% of the Insured Declared Value (IDV), the vehicle is declared a total loss. We manage the entire total loss process including vehicle registration cancellation and full payout receipt.
